Formulation Guidelines

Incorporate during cool-down below 45°C. Typical use 1–4% w/w in aqueous and emulsion-based sensitive skin care.

• Barrier serums: 2–4% w/w in hydrogel or essence bases; add in water phase below 40°C.
• Calming creams: 1–3% w/w in O/W emulsions for sensitive-skin day and night formulations.
• Suggested pH: 5.0–6.5; avoid strong alkalinity above pH 7.0 to protect polysaccharide markers.
• Compatible with panthenol, ceramides, and squalane; avoid co-formulation with high-strength acids above pH 3.5.
• Pre-dilute powder grades in water phase; shear gently to prevent polysaccharide viscosity loss.
