It is compatible with a wide range of active ingredients and pH levels (typically stable pH 3.0–10.0). However, usually being dispersed in propylene glycol, it pairs well with other polyols. Recommended usage levels range from 2.0% to 10.0% as a moisturizer/lubricant, and up to 50% for high-viscosity serum bases.
