Our Steartrimonium Chloride is a powerful, highly substantive cationic conditioning agent specifically designed for hair care applications that demand intensive smoothing, frizz control, and a rich, luxurious feel. Product Uses

• Hair Care: The primary choice for intensive repair hair masks, smoothing conditioners (for coarse, curly, or frizzy hair), deep conditioners for chemically-treated hair, hair straightening creams, and leave-in conditioning treatments.
• "Silicone-Free" Formulations: An excellent ingredient for creating high-performance, "silicone-free" conditioning systems that still offer a desirable silky, lubricious feel and significant frizz reduction.

Formulation Suggestions

Recommended dosage: 0.5% - 2.5% (as supplied for an 80% active solution).

Our Steartrimonium Chloride is water-dispersible and should be added to the heated water phase (65-75°C) of your formulation. It works synergistically with fatty alcohols (such as Cetearyl Alcohol) and other cationic polymers to build a rich, stable emulsion with excellent sensory properties. For maximum performance and deposition on the hair, we recommend maintaining the final formula's pH between 4.0 and 6.5.
