Formulation Suggestions

Recommended dosage: 0.5% - 4.0%.
Unlike Salicylic Acid, Salicin is water-soluble, which greatly simplifies the formulation process. It can be incorporated directly into the water phase of serums, toners, and emulsions. For best results, we recommend adding it to the water phase and heating gently (to 40-50°C) to ensure complete dissolution. It is effective and stable in a pH range of 4.0 to 6.5. Its potent anti-inflammatory properties work synergistically with other soothing ingredients like Niacinamide, Allantoin, and Panthenol to create a comprehensive, gentle-efficacy formula.
