Formulation Guidelines

Add to cool-process aqueous phases below 40°C; pre-dilute before combining with proteins or high-pH systems.

• Brightening serum: 1–3% w/w in water phase; add post-emulsification when possible.
• Radiance cream: 0.5–2% w/w in O/W emulsions; stable across pH 4.5–6.5.
• pH window: Optimal 4.5–6.0; avoid prolonged alkaline conditions above pH 7.0.
• Processing: Add below 40°C; tannin-rich extracts may precipitate with gelatin or collagen bases.
• Compatibility: Test with metal ions and strong oxidizers; use chelator if formula contains trace metals.
