Formulation Suggestions

Recommended dosage: 0.1% - 1.0%.
The primary challenge in formulating with Chlorogenic Acid is its sensitivity to oxidation, which can lead to formula discoloration over time. To ensure stability, we strongly recommend formulating at an acidic pH (ideally 4.0 - 5.5). The inclusion of a strong chelating agent (e.g., Disodium EDTA) is critical to prevent metal-catalyzed oxidation. For optimal potency, it should be added to the water phase during the cool-down stage of production (below 40°C). We advise using UV-protective packaging to maintain long-term efficacy.
